Another Biscoff recipe coming in hot - I made these using Lotus's 'smooth Biscoff spread' and (after a couple of attempts) they turned out goooddddddddd.
(Recipe video for these can be found on instagram - @thedaisydiet)
THE RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
150g DF marg (I used @purefreefrom sunflower spread)
150g Smooth Biscoff spread
90g Oats
150g Self-raising flour
1 tsp Vanilla extract
180g Soft light brown sugar
1 bar of NOMO chocolate, chopped to make chips
METHOD:
Whack the flour, oats and sugar into a medium sized bowl and stir together (be sure to sieve out any sugar or flour-y lumps!). Mix in the vanilla extract.
Melt the DF margarine and Biscoff spread together over a low heat, (making sure to give the mix a good stir every now and then so it doesn’t burn).
Pour this into the bowl and combine.
Finally, fold through the chocolate chips and press the mix into an 8 x 8 inch, greased and lined baking tin.
Place in the oven for 25-30mins @ 180C.
Allow to cool for 10 mins before turning out onto a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
Cut, serve and ENJOY ! ! And as always - let me know if you try them out - I love seeing and sharing your recreations :D
